The den is located near the center of the large territory. It can be found in a large clearing within the dense forest surrounding it. The entrance to the den is small and low to the ground, but the inside is actually quite spacious. Usually, only expectant mothers, pups, and sick members use the den while the rest of the pack rests outside in the clearing. However, if the weather is extreme or a danger lurks near, the comfortable and relatively safe den will be used.

"It is time for a new beginning." The female thought, glancing around the emptiness that filled the den area from where she rested on her haunches. The bright sun was climbing across the sky, and the she-wolf allowed herself to get lost in it's lazy warmth that seeped into her fur. Recent Autumn had brought a chill in the air, but she preferred the cool weather. Fall had always been her favorite season; the colors of foliage bright and beautiful. Dense trees surrounding the large clearing had already turned brilliant yellows and shocking reds, and leaves littered the ground. Aysel allowed her cool golden gaze to settle on Rosalee, and a small smile crossed her muzzle. She had always thought her younger sister was a beautiful wolf, her rust brown and black fur melding together and shimmering in the light. Pride welled up in her chest at the notion of beginning a pack with her little Lee. She was so good and sweet to all she met, a counterpart to herself, the gruff and distant leader. She dearly loved her sister, even if she didn't often openly express it. Aysel found it difficult to express her deep feeling at times, but Lee understood her like no one else ever had. She was very protective over her, and felt that it was her duty to watch over her. Slowly, she rose to her paws and crossed the short distance between the wolves. Her long legs carried her silvery grey frame over the dying grass, moving regally. The fae nudged her sister softly on the shoulder, then gave her a look, almost as if she asked permission.
"It has been too long since these lands were filled with the life of a pack." She reasoned internally. "Stipant Elementorum will return." Aysel took a strong stance before letting a howl begin in her chest. As it became stronger, her head tipped towards the sky. It was clear and beautiful, a song in the breeze. In the howl, a twinge of challenge could be found.

Lustrous, golden eyes focused on the streaming rays of sunshine with youthful inquisitiveness. Like the ways of the great phoenix, the curious beams of light seemed to foreshadow a great revival to these lands. She pondered with deep thought and mystique; connecting the brilliance of this moment and the queer fact that the fantastic ablaze foliage seemed to declare it's agreement with her thoughts of the fiery phoenix. For a brief second, her shadowy lids fluttered closed, taking in the peacefulness and magnitude of this singular moment. Rosalee did not have to open them to know that Aysel was baring her gaze into her direction. A warm, enduring feeling always sweltered within, much like how the sun radiated down just now.

The thought caused the young maiden to internally scowl. Although she would never admit it, Rosalee despised what the sunlight did to her once rich, ebony pelt. Only her midnight face, dusky paws, and tinted undercoat hinted to her true shade, the remainder of her exterior was tainted by streaks of ruddy highlights, like rusting metal. No matter what Selly says, Rosalee doesn't believe for a moment that she is pretty.

But what sister would say otherwise? Aysel may conceive herself to be more aloof in nature, but Rosalee knew better. Her older sister was so much more that - she illuminated with strength, boasted with sensibility, and was bountiful on love. She was everything she wistfully wanted to be. And yet Rosalee found herself uncoordinated for regular hunting, too honest for spying, and too slow to be a warrior. Instead she allowed her compassion and intellect carry her interest towards helping others through healing.

A gentle nudge against her rustic hued shoulder broke her entrancing thoughts. Her puzzled expression swiftly was replaced with a knowing grin. The girl sucked in a deep breath as the silvery leader took the first steps to declare a permanent claim to the area. Her rounded ears perked at the voice of Aysel, ringing for all to hear. Before long Rosalee tipped her own skull back, singing her own meek cry, nothing more than an echo against the call of her eldest sister.

Aysel allowed her howl to soften and drift into nothingness as her air became spent. She breathed the crisp breeze into her lungs once more, filling them to their capacity. Her cool and collected golden gaze turned once more to her young sister. "Where would I be without you, little Rose?" She inquired internally as her expression automatically softened. There were no untouchable boundaries that Aysel could keep when she was with Rosalee. Lee's beautifully kind personality uplifted the Alpha's spirits, and her gentle ways seemed to give a sense of calm and peace with everyone she came in contact with. Life had brightened so whenever this rusted black she-wolf had entered Aysel's timeline.

"I should take a patrol of the territory."
The grey wolf sighed, taking on duty that her rank required. "Sergill should not have to do everything himself. I'm sure he would appreciate the help." She reasoned, giving the smaller wolf beside her a smile at the corner of her maw. "I will be back before dark, alright?" She asked quietly, cautious not to demand Rosalee to remain. "I know that she is growing into a fine young wolf... but I still worry." She thought.

A small glint appeared in Aysel's orbs before she playfully nudged her sibling to lighten the mood. "Stay safe." She added before nuzzling her muzzle into the wolf's soft fur. Only a few seconds later, her sleek body was through the entrance to the den area and into her land in search of any trouble.

The wolfess’s partnered symphony gradually faded into nothing more than a memory. Straightaway the scorching sensation returned as Rosalee arched her neck to find Aysel with that familiar grin which radiated with undeniable adoration. I wonder if she’ll ever see me as an adult rather than a big eared, teething puppy? The thought caused the adolescent to scoff internally. At least my fur was as dark as a starless night then. Reminiscences of puppyhood were still fresh enough to exist, but far enough behind her that a collection of them still remained sharp in her mind. Her most treasured memories to this point of the maiden’s life, all involved her lunar elder sibling. Through pleasant times and hardships, Selly was always there for her – the single constant in her young life – and Rosalee hoped, with every breath, that that would be true for many seasons to come.

She noticed that a readable and thoughtful expression washed over the Alpha’s face. Like a moon that had eclipsed over, Aysel’s canary gaze ever so slightly seemed to suddenly cast a shadow. Responsibilities seemed to always bring forth the alteration; or probably more precisely, perhaps it was Rosalee herself who brought a moment of brightness in her relative’s life, which instantly lost its intensity when duties called.

At the mentioning of Sergill, the darkest she-wolf blinked with understanding. “Right,” agreed the dusky female. Amidst herself, Rosalee entertained the idea that the leader might actually want to go check on the scout. Her sister’s trust did not come in a forthright manner. Whatever was behind her intentions, the girl did not question the Alpha’s motives. Great. I’ll see you then,” Rosalee barked softly, never liking the idea of separating for too long. Nevertheless, her voice came off stronger and more gleefully than she felt. On the bright side, this will offer me a chance to add to my supplies before winter kills off most of the plant life.

“You too,” replied the healer, returning with gentle head-butt. Her gaze followed the fleeting figure of Aysel until she was swallowed by the natural foliage. Rosalee’s tongue swiped over the ebony of her own nose, contemplating following the majestic she wolf for nothing more than the enjoyment of it. However, if she ever wanted to be anything like the moon shaded canine, Rose would have to grow up and be a productive member of the pack. Her sister’s demeanor rubbing off of her, with an exasperated pout, she turned on her haunches, departing in the opposite direction.

The winter was almost in the end and Stipant was still a small Pack. The lands were big for that amount of wolves, although in the fae’s mind, it was slowly getting better. One by one the pack was getting bigger and soon they would be strong enough to defend their own home. However, the pack needed to know each other better, and more than that, learn to trust each other. It was the time for a meeting.
The auburn female paced her way back to the main den. Her calm steps showing that she was in no rush, as probably she wouldn’t find any pack mates there. Walking through the melting ice, she stopped near what should be the entrance of the den, which was now covered with snow. The female jumped graciously in the frozen rock, pairing her front legs before stretching her neck, raising her head. Through her vocal chords a loud, dominant howl echoed through the territory, clearly showing that she had something to say.

(Special thanks to Shina for writing that for me^^)

The relaxed he-wolf rested under a large pine tree as the late winter breeze howled against his rough fur. But there was another obvious sound which broke about the atmosphere. A clearly dominant howl of an alpha calling for her pack. It had seemed to come from the main den- of course. This would be a good opportunity for Z'ev to finally join a pack, after all, he hasn't really interacted with any as of yet. However, that wouldn't come as a surprise since he would be a new pack member. A good first impression would do great... but Z being the controlled canid that he was always had trouble with good first impressions. But without thinking twice, the he-wolf arose stretching his long front legs and shaking his pelt to rid himself from the snow which rested upon it. As Z began trotting, he lifted his head up high and confidently approached the main den. He was surely ready to meet a pack. Or in this case, just an alpha.

Four weeks passed after the fall. The wounds healed quiet fast, except for her right radius bone. It prevented her from running. She was vulnerable. She had just grabbed her fish, small, but it was the only thing she could get in the entire week. Not even hares were at her reach, as they were too fast for her damaged leg.
The she-wolf licked her lips, still hungry. She got up, about to head to the lake again, when a howl came to her ears. Joining a pack would definetly be a great addition to her situation. Slowly and slightly limping, she paced to the origin of the sound, hoping they would accept a currently damaged she-wolf.
Shin walked till the main den. Apparently, the wolves were supposed to gather there, but currently she only spotted a silver, grey and than shaded wolf and a ginger one, clearly showing dominance. She stepped forward, showing herself in the open area.

The pointed ears of a curly furred wolf perked, he had just awoke and found himself away from the den. His slightly crooked nose pointed in the general direction of the howl that had shook him from sleep. The dominating tone of Nova pulled the scout from his solitude, getting to his paws and quietly approaching the main den with an obvious lack of urgency. His dull teal eyes glanced over the two new wolves, Shina and Z'ev. Without saying a word Sergill quietly continued towards the grouping with Nova and sat himself a bit further from the rest with slight unease, although clearly present. He engaged an observing watch over the new comers that his sleeping had caused him to miss. Now he glanced between Nova and the others, wondering to himself of what to be doing.

Ares had been traveling restlessly for a few weeks now, it's been a year and a half since the incident happened. Time to time he came across rogues, though none of them were wolves he wished to accompany. Ares preferred to travel lone anyway - no one matched his personality enough for him to travel with for long periods. Yet soon he found a pack's boarder, which he lurked the outskirts frequently, though today he ventured into the heart. It seemed subtle, low activity, dead. Ares was more or less curious of the status of wolves. If it was empty, he would raid the grounds for food. If not, maybe he would seek company.

Ares followed the strongest scent markers, soon finding the origin of a den site. As he neared, a dominant howl rang out thunderously over the territory. A low, challenging growl over took him, it was slyly playful as his silver-blue eyes focused ahead. He raced closer, dodging trees and slowing as canine scents hit him aggressively. He was close. "Let's see what kind pack you're running here." He said to himself with a grin as he confidently stepped out of the snow coated brush. Luminous azure eyes roamed freely, only a handful of canines were present, none quite smelling much of the land. Potentially many wee not yet in a pack. Ares' gaze fell solely on a dominantly stanced female of cream and ginger. It was clear her voice is the one that sang the howl over the terrain.

The former alpha held himself confidently, tail aligned with his spine and his head high with ears erect as he padded closer to her. Keeping a large distance between them - "Hello there, miss. My name is Ares Nightingale, former patriarch of the Nightingale pack. Might I assume this lovely land is yours?" The grey and tawny male's voice flowed in a polite, effortlessly charming way. He smirked at the end of his introduction. His eyes briefly falling on a male painted in common timber colors, a female with a damaged leg - this made his eyes soft and ears fall flat momentarily as he felt bad for the female. Then a gray colored male whom slipped in soon after.

Laying curled up, with her tail tip covering her nose, Ahora sheltered herself under a low pine tree. The branches surrounding reflected her heat back, keeping her warm. She had been there for a few hours, with her eyes open, daydreaming about eating another large carp, her favorite fish. Once she heard the howl fill the still air, she perked her head, and then began trotting swiftly towards the direction. As she drew closer, she could smell many different scents, especially sand and river water. Once she seen the opening she scanned and seen 5 other wolves gathered, all much larger than her. She lowered her head as she approached closer, hiding herself behind a tree. She poked her head out to listen in on the conversation. She'd seen a tall, black and tan wolf, who was a distance away, addressing the ginger and tan wolf.

Shin studied the area, watching as a silver Wolf approached the area. But something suddenly took her attention: a black and tan wolf that was standing with such confidence in front of the pack. She watched as he directed his words to who seemed to be the dominant wolf in the area.

After the brute inquired his question to the ginger wolf, he passed his eyes through the canids, flattering his ears when he spotted her. That made the she-wolf mad. She lowered her head, staring her broken front leg and frowned. She didn’t want others to feel pity because of it.

Lifting her tail, the cream she-wolf paced forward approaching the dominant wolf, fighting the pain to try to walk as normal as she could. As the stranger male was probably going to ask to be part of the pack, she would seize the opportunity and do the same.

Z'ev looked around feeling confused all of a sudden from the constant amount of loners entering the territory. Of course joining a pack that had just been established would be a good idea for any loner. The brute continued to watch the loners come one by one. He noticed one silver canid just standing there with a similar confused expression as Z'ev. Suddenly a canid with a quite unusual pelt approaching the alpha confidently caught his attention instead. Must have done this many times before. While listening to the canid which went by “Ares”, his ears suddenly flicked to the sound of Shina's low growl which broke into the atmosphere after the male noticeably stared at the she-wolf's wounded leg. But if anything, the male had something that Z'ev lacked. He was quite charismatic and seemed to be social as well. Although the he-wolf thought of this as a positive thing, he didn't feel a need to charm anyone.
Looking around, he had to squint his eyes slightly to notice a smaller canid resting near a tree in the distance. That howl must have attracted a lot of loners. It was a good way to inform others that a pack were to be formed. Nevertheless, if all the canids here were planning on joining the pack, he might as well introduce himself too. The brute stepped forward confidently, an emotionless expression plastered across his visage and his head raised up high. After all, which alpha would want to accept an unconfident and weak-looking canid?

Ahora watched as the other wolves approached the dominant with confidence. As she analyzed the situation, it seemed like the wolves didn't know each other, but all gathered perhaps to start a pack. When she noticed the white female had a hurt leg, numerous herbs raced through Ahora's mind, those that could help; Although, it didn't look like she was in much pain, which amazed Ahora. She scanned over the other candids once more. The other wolves were larger than her, but they were wolves.
" Wolves stay with wolves- And I'm a wolf." Ahora thought, giving herself a boost of confidence. Reaching her legs out, her steps were slow and steady towards the opening. After taking a deep breath in, she held her head up higher, looking at the others and then towards the dominant wolf. She stopped walking just a few feet from the others, she tried her best to look calm while her heart pounded.
