PostSubject: Hunting Grounds   Sun Nov 29, 2015 12:14 am

The wide, open plains are abundant in prey that keep the pack full. The hunting grounds are partially located in the east side territory, but most of it extends outside of it. Herds of elk make their home here, but the winter can be more sparse in number. Hunters will often be here, stalking and pouncing when least expected.

PostSubject: First Hunt   Wed Mar 02, 2016 11:49 am

With every step , Ahora breathed in the cold air as she traveled. She had been following an elk herd for a awhile now, watching the pregnant females almost fly above the melting snow. She thought about attacking, but decided it wasn't best, for she didn't have much experience with big game. She wanted to shy away and go hunt fish, but she knew it was time to learn something about hunting elk. Looking around at the bare land, Ahora stoped, sighed and sat down. She figured she give the elk some time to roam ahead, she could always track them later. As she sat still her mind wandered, thinking about her sister Lilas.

The brute's auds flicked as he listened to the sound of the herd of elk move about in the distance. A hunt sounded like a great idea as his stomach had been bothering for what felt like weeks. Z'ev shook his pelt as he arose to his paws. The he-wolf tried to trot closer to get an insight of the weak or vulnerable. Yes it was an evil idea, but hey that's what wolves do and he was pretty damn experienced. The timber wolf allowed his light orbs to scan the territory, taking in every little detail of the herd. But there was something in the distance, something much smaller than an elk. Narrowing his eyes in attempt to get a better view, a wolf-like silhouette stood on the other side of the hunting grounds. Quite interesting indeed, the canid seemed confused or rather unsure. He could be a nice wolf and go help the canid, but not all are in want of help. Perhaps it was better for him to just sit and watch the wolf's movements and hunting strategies in a way to decide whether it was good idea to approach them or not. But as he stood there for a while, the canid still seemed confused of what to do next. Z'ev let out a deep breath as he was dying to get just one bite out of those elk. The hungry he-wolf decided to close in, stalking slowly and cautiously. At the point of starvation, even this controlled canid would wreck anything amongst his path.

Ahora's thoughts were interrupted by another scent, the scent of a canine. She began to scan the horizon, spotting another wolf. Being a distance away, Ahora could tell the wolf was much larger than herself. But, then the wolf crouched down and started stalking the elk. She watched the stance carefully. She wondered why the wolf was stalking, " I thought you just chase elk and one of them gets tired or something-" Ahora thought to herself. She needed to know why. Keeping her body lower, she smoothly trotted over to the wolf, stopping about 90 feet behind. At this point she noticed he was male, in his prime shape, standing about 30 inches or so at his shoulders; more than 10 inches taller than Ahora. She then crouched down, in the stalking position. She tilted her head and put one of her ears back to hopefully signal to the wolf she wasn't a threat, but wanted to learn to hunt.

Shin left to grab herself a meal, as her stomach was already shouting at her. She followed the tracks of a small hare, the only thing around that she was able to take down alone. It didn't take too long for her to spot the mammal, a few steps ahead of her. Lowering her head, the cream she-wolf approached the hare carefully, but it was smarter than her. It dashed away, hoping as quick as it could. Shin followed it through the woods, till they arrived in the hunting grounds.
As the scent of wolves reached her nostrils, Shin decided to forget the hare. With more wolves, they could take down an elk. Moving her orbs to scan the plains, Shin soon found the origin of the scents: two wolves, that apparently didn't knew each other. But she recognized one of them from earlier. With a grin on her mouth and a voracious appetite, the she-wolf started to run towards the couple of wolves, not knowing how would they react, but definetly in hope they would be a great team.
But something went terribly wrong with her running rhythm. When she was about 30 meters from the wolves, she stumbled on her own paws, a mistake that threw her body towards the ground, with her face in the snow. Shin got up, shaking her pelt.

Ahora was watching once she heard a thumping sound. She quickly jumped up, startled for a moment, to see a cream white female wolf. Ahora wondered if she was alright. Deciding to canter over to the female, Ahora stopped 12 feet away, softly asked, " Are you alright?" After asking she began scanning the field for Calendula or Nepeta Cataria, for if the female was hurt these herbs could help with cuts and infections, but also give relaxation.

Z'ev's eyes were on the prize. A potentially old and feeble elk stood in the distance. The scent of its wounds surrounded the atmosphere about him. Nostrils flaring violently, he began to close in. He could feel that the other wolf had gotten much closer to him as she was before, but this didn't bother him at all since she didn't really seem like a threat. Suddenly, the sound of a thump made his head snap towards that direction and not so long after that, the heard of startled elk began dashing off as they obviously heard it as well. Z'ev furrowed his eyebrows as he looked over to the heard of elk then back at the cream-pelted she-wolf. His stomach growled as he didn't know whether to chase after the elk or go help out. Looking back one more time at the herd, he knew he couldn't possibly reach them by now. Trotting towards the two female, the brute looked down at the she-wolf that fell, and flicked his ears with a straight face. "You should be more careful." Obviously annoyed by the sound that ruined his hunt, he thought that he shouldn't come off too cold. Z'ev sighed and added, "You alright...?"

Shin blushed, diverting her gaze from the wolves as she sook her pelt full of snow. Once on her feet, stepping in the messy snow, she heard the voice of the she-wolf asking if she was okay. Disaster... You are a walking disaster. She mumured to herself. "Yeah, I'm okay... thank you" she replied, politely.

The cream she-wolf gave some steps ahead, limping a little, 'cause the damage from her last feat hadn't completely healed yet. She lifted her head, switching her gaze from the nut-colored fae to the herd that just fled. Di-sas-ter. She repeated, scolding herself. "You should be more careful" the wolf that had just lost his prey directed his words to her. I know right, she thought, putting him under her sight. He was definetly annoyed, but he still has a pretty face, she thought to herself. "You alright...?" he asked. She cleared her throat, diverting her gaze to the fae. "Yeah..." she replied, stepping closer to them. "I... I would like to know if you... maybe... happen to want a help with the hunting?" She asked, in a low tone, shrugging and giving them a faint, bumbling smile.

Ahora listened to the female's response, saying she was alright. Once she said that, Ahora stopped looking for herbs and directed her attention to the fae. As the cream wolf stepped forward, she limped a bit, and Ahora began to question if she truly was alright. As she examined the wolf's behavior, she could sense she was attracted to the large male. Once she asked about helping with the hunt, Ahora stepped back to let the male respond, she herself didn't know anything about hunting elk. But she wondered if the female was in a good condition to hunt. Ahora quietly asked. " Are you truly alright to go hunting? If your leg hurts in any way, I can help you."

The injured she-wolf obviously seemed doubtful of herself. Also pretty unconfident about her capabilities which apparently consists of trotting properly? Z'ev continued to gaze at the female. His gaze transitioning from the creamish-white she-wolf to the rest of her physique, checking for any injuries of any kind. Suddenly, when he looked up he saw an unfamiliar expression. It was different. Not happy, not upset nor angry- nothing that Z'ev has ever expressed before. Of course the brute wasn't the best at taking hints of any sort and he didn't really pay too much attention to them anyways. The only hints he was good at taking was during a hunt or a fight of some sort. Basically when it was necessary and he actually payed attention.

Shrugging it off, the he-wolf's ears flicked as the female began to stutter her words out. Asking if she could help with the hunt. Z'ev let out a cold scoff. How was she going to help? She can barely stand on her own two legs. The brute thought. Shaking it off quickly he looked around to search for prey. Clearly there was nothing to hunt, but perhaps they could track down the scattered elk. "It doesn't seem like you're very suitable for hunting at the moment. Perhaps you need some healing." He looked down at her with his bright cold orbs and then he looked over at the other female. She seemed pretty experienced about healing. Z'ev turned his attention back onto the bright pelted she-wolf. "But if you think you're fine, just try to keep up." Z'ev flicked the tip of his tail from side to side calmly trying to get a scent of the elk. Maybe he could catch a meal after all.

"Are you truly alright to go hunting? If your leg hurts in any way, I can help you" The she-wolf replied Shin. She lowered her head, staring her paw. No fear, not anymore where the only words that came to her mind. Feeling the adrenaline of shame dismiss from her body, she lifted her head, glancing at the fae "Yes, I am. This... is nothing I can't handle". She replied, confident of the abilities she acquired even with that leg in the state it was. It wasn't so bad, either.
Moving her head, Shin put the male under her sight, as he directed his words to her. "It doesn't seem like you're very suitable for hunting at the moment. Perhaps you need some healing." he stated and she frowned. She was hungry and that was enough for being 'suitable for hunting', at least on her mind it worked like that. "But if you think you're fine, just try to keep up." the male added, already turning his attention to the scents around. Shin was determined to fix the mess she just caused. She gave the she-wolf a friendly glance, doing a movement with her head as if inviting her to come with them, as she followed the brute. Stepping strongly, she just ignored her injured leg and lowered her muzzle, looking for scents. And soon she had it. And old elk was around and not too far was the rest of the herd. Shin grinned, dashing forward to pair her steps with the male's. Giving him a 'we got them' glance, she turned her head, locking her eyes in the signs at the path ahead.

"Yes, I am. This…is nothing I can't handle." The female responded. Ahora noticed the female frowned a lot at her leg, perhaps it was something she preferred to not talk about. Deciding to drop it, Ahora directed her attention to the male, who began to hunt again. The cream female followed his footsteps, and gave Ahora a 'come along' look. Ahora smiled and waged her tail, to go along and learn something new was exciting for her. Following behind the female, she took in all the scents. She misunderstood the scent of sickness, or elderness.
" What would that even smell like?" She thought to herself. Then a musky smell reached her nose; Burning through her nostrils, reaching the back of her throat. She could practically taste it, though it wasn't an appetizing smell."Is that what it smells like?" Ahora wondered to herself. Then the pair of wolves began to dash, Ahora who was so deep into the scents was delayed to notice. Once she realized they were running, she quickly jumped up and ran as fast as she could the catch up behind them. Excitement rushed through Ahora's veins. She wondered what the wolves up ahead seen.

As Z'ev heard the females reassurance that she was all good to go hunting a slight smirk plastered across his muzzle. Perfect. He thought. Noticing as the others trotted along behind him, he continued searching for a scent. His nostrils flaring, determined for something. Anything. All of a sudden, the light-pelted she-wolf began running up towards him, in attempt of catching up and quickly succeeding. An expression that quite impressed Z was plastered amongst her visage. She beat him to it, she caught a scent. The brute returned a slight nod to her hint and began running at the same pace occasionally looking back to make sure the other canid was keeping up. Hmm not too bad. He thought and soon enough also caught the scent of a feeble old elk not too far ahead.

Slowing down a bit once they were relatively close, the brute turned his head looking over at the two canid's and whispering quietly in an attempt to try not to startle the elk. At least not again. "We need a plan and I'm not too familiar with your capabilities. So feel free to fill me in." The she-wolves weren't all too familiar to Z and he knew certain capabilities were very important during a hunt. "However, this one doesn't seem like the one to fight back much." Z'ev examined the old elk. He continued to rest his gaze upon the two she-wolf impatiently before the elk noticed that they lurked about. Usually, Z'ev would be the last killing blow. Using mostly his strength as he didn't carry much stamina, he would be the ambush- the one to bring the prey down and that was what he was best at and he was hoping that the she-wolf were either fast or had high stamina. Slowly, he licked his fangs that were aching to dig into the elk's throat and rip it apart. Yes, it's been a while...

Shin slowed down, accompanying the brute. "We need a plan and I'm not too familiar with your capabilities. So feel free to fill me in" he whispered. Shin glanced at the she-wolf. "However, this one doesn't seem like the one to fight back much" the brute added and she turned her gaze to him. Studying his physical discreetly, she could see he wasn't one of the fast ones, though the she-wolf seemed to hold enough speed. She quickly moved her orbs from him to her, then back to him. "Okay, I have a plan" she stated, whispering. Moving her head, she searched for the injured old elk. "Can you chase the elk and make it go east? There are more bushes to that direction" she asked the she-wolf, then glanced at the brute. "I'll hide there, and when it comes to my front, I can take it down for a brief moment, and that's when you can finish it, as you seem to be able to crush its neck on your own" she stated to him, planning to do one of her odd movements, but one that never failed till now. "With it's neck within your fangs, it will be easier to hold it down." she added, still looking at him. "Try to keep it running straight, 'cause if it goes to the wrong place, we'll have to run for longer" she directed to the she-wolf.

Ahora listened to the plan carefully. The male stated the elder elk didn't look like one to fight back. She noticed he looked very hungry, and his fangs looked quite large to the young Ahora. She directed her attention to the cream wolf who had came up with a plan. "Can you chase the elk and make it go east?" The female asked Ahora. Ahora gave confident a nod.  The cream wolf would take down the elk for a moment, and then the male will give the last blow."Try to keep it running straight, 'cause if it goes to the wrong place, we'll have to run for longer." Nodding again, Ahora  pupils narrowed, as she started to focus on her tasks. " I'll try my best." Ahora confidently stated. Crouching down, Ahora moved forward slowly, ready to start. Then, she stopped and turned around. In a very low voiced she asked, " Wait… what are your names? Just in case something goes wrong…like the bull elk starts stampeding towards you and you don't see, what do I call you to warn you?"

As the she-wolf explained her plan, Z'ev nodded in acknowledgement. It was  good plan. But one thing worried him, the she-wolf shouldn't drive the herd of elk alone. It could be too dangerous, since the elk are much larger, what if they turn back on her? She could get hurt. The brute's tail flicked around aggressively as he was concentrated on the plan. He looked at the smaller she-wolf that was going to drive the elk towards the other canid. If it doesn't go wrong, it'd be a great plan. He turned his head once again observing the heard, the bull elk was far away and he wouldn't take the risk of trying to save his whole herd. The canid's needed to think of a back up plan, Z'ev began to think of a way to somehow prevent the herd from attacking the she-wolf.

Looking over at the stealthy female, his ears flicked to her question asking about their names if something happened. He wanted to minimize the risk of anything happening though. He stood up a bit taller while introducing himself. "You can call me Z'ev." The brute nodded. "But we need to think of a backup plan. The herd could start stampeding towards you if they find out you are all alone and they could hurt you." Z'ev bluntly said it. "You need to prevent that from happening. Try intimidating them. Perhaps a big growl or howl could work, then suddenly bolting towards them would do the trick. Z'ev eyed the smaller she-wolf's physique. She didn't look much intimidating. But there could be more than meets the eye "Just try to look intimidating." With those last words, he stretched his back and crouched down as he slowly made his way to his post where he would ambush. Slowly and quietly stalking his way around the herd unnoticeably. He had his doubts but he tried to clear his mind and focus on the hunt. If he could do it alone, he could surely do it with two other canid's.

"I'll try my best" the fae replied after nodding. Shin smiled, nodding in aggreement and somewhat proud, but it wasn't as she really knew them... actually, they just met.
She paced ahead to get ready to start when the fae asked for their names. "You can call me Z'ev." the brute replied first. Z'ev... she repeated the world in her head. "But we need to think of a backup plan. The herd could start stampeding towards you if they find out you are all alone and they could hurt you. You need to prevent that from happening. Try intimidating them. Perhaps a big growl or howl could work, then suddenly bolting towards them would do the trick. Just try to look intimidating." he added. Shin glanced at the fae. Yeah, the brute was right, there was a risk they all were supposed to face. If anything go wrong with her, I'll not be too far, I will help, she thought to herself, glancing the herd to check for ways to keep an eye on what was happening.
Soon, realizing she hadn't replied the she-wolf yet, Shin shook her head slightly, turning her gaze to her. "My name is Shina"she finally replied. "What's your name?" she asked, as the fae hadn't told her.

The male introduced himself as Z'ev.  He then told Ahora about the need for a back up plan, just in case the herd tried to hurt her. He suggested growling, or even howling to prevent such things to happen. Even though the male said it bluntly,  Ahora's view of both the female and the male changed, they appeared to look like leaders for a moment. But, by the way Z'ev looked at Ahora, she could tell he was judging her physique, probably questioning if she could really handle the task. " Just try to look intimidating." Though this comment made Ahora flinch, it made her want to focus harder. As he crouched away to his post, the fae introduced herself as Shina. Ahora smiled and replied, " I'm Ahora. Don't worry guys, I'll be as intimidating as a bear." She turned forwards again and started to approach the herd. Ahora was so small the herd couldn't see her lingering in the grass. Following the musky smell, she found the elder that ruminated the scent. Being a dull gray,  the female elder was small compared to the tall golden female standing beside her. Waiting for a moment, to make sure Shina got to her post, Ahora stalked them carefully. Perhaps the best way to approach this was to stampede in, with the element of surprise. If I could jump out and spook them, with sounding loud enough, they'd just jump and run…without stopping to judge my size. She was able to get as close as 10 feet to the elk, getting a better look. She noticed the front right ankle of the elder elk was swollen, perhaps a injury?
It's time… Ahora jumped up out from the grass, giving fast warning barks. " RUFF RUFF RUFF RUFF!" The females were so startled they didn't take the time to size up Ahora, but only to instantly run. It worked! Ahora smiled. But then the females paired together, and began to run towards the herd, running west.  Noticing the direction, Ahora kept barking, able to keep the females from getting a good look at her, but yet staying intimated from her sounds. Staying to their right side, Ahora managed to herd them. The two made a bow turn, and began running east. Once heading the right direction, Ahora positioned herself directly behind them. I'll tail them! Ahora exclaimed to herself. She ran dangerously close behind the females, still barking as loud as she could. The healthy female managed to kick backwards, hitting Ahora in the face with her back left hoof. Letting out a yelp, Ahora lowered her head and closed her eyes from the instant soreness, slowing down her speed. I can't give up! I can't! These thoughts reached Ahora. The pain from the hit made Ahora growl. Growing angry, she caught her speed up again, shaking off her pain. She focused on her tasks, herding them straight to Shina and Z'ev.

Z'ev finally reached his post as he attentively listened to the sounds that filled the atmosphere. He was satisfied when he heard loud barking, good enough to intimidate a large herd. If he didn't know any better he'd think that it was a large experienced canid. Smirking at the ground shaking as the elk's hooves collided against the hard terrain. His claws shifted as power built up in his rear legs, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. The brute examined the she-wolf's hunting strategies, suddenly he tensed up as he saw her get close to the rear hind of the healthy female elk. As a result, a loud yelp and a hard kick to the face. Z'ev growled as he watched the she-wolf slow down in pain. It was definitely something he didn't wanna see happening, especially since everything was going according to plan. As his cold expression slowly transitioned to a concerned one, he looked to see if Ahora was alright.

His ears flicked as the angry growls escaped Ahora's muzzle, quickly turning her anger into even more determination and increasing her speed while directing the herd of elk towards Shina and Z'ev. His eyes were so focused on the old feeble elk as he watched it get tired slowly and every second got them closer to a delicious meal. The brute turned his head towards Shina as he wanted for her hint and looked to see when she would attack. Maybe he had misjudged them, and he was quite impressed by the effort to prove themselves. But to whom? Z'ev? Eachother? The brute shook it off as he was beginning to think too much. During a hunt it is ideal to focus on what's happening and that's exactly what Z'ev did. If the she-wolves were gonna put in so much effort then so will he.

Shin dashed to her spot within the bushes, her paws sinking in the white snow, muffling the sound of her weight against the ground. Once in position, she lowered her body, lifting her head so she could watch the herd moving to her direction.
Ahora's barkings worked perfectly. The elks were too busy being desperate to look at how many wolves were following them. With a subtle move of her orbs, Shina spotted Z'ev, that, at this time, was already in position.
The sound of hooves brought the creamish she-wolf's attention back to the herd, just when one of the elks hit Ahora. Adrenaline filled Shin's body as Ahora yelled. She got up, ready to go help the she-wolf, but soon she realized she wasn't needed. With a growl, Ahora compose herself, gain even more speed. Shin smirked, positioning her paws to begin to run.
Soon the injured old elk was at the right distance. Giving her body a first impulse with her rear legs, Shin crossed the plains, as fast as a bullet, aiming the elk's back. Her paws moving so fast that it was almost as if she wasn't injured. Ignoring the pain of each touch of that paw in the ground, Shin locked her gaze in the target, lauching her body in the air a few feet from the elk. Extending her front legs, she soon touched the elk, destabilizing it, as her ivories grabbed its skin.
With the impact, the elk fell and Shin was hurled to the oposite side of her prey, not releasing its skin at any moment. The elk fell, and as soon as the she-wolf realized she was on the ground, she streched her front legs over its body, trying to keep it down the flouncing elk. Opening her jaws, she released its skin for a few seconds just to grab it again, this time tighter, as a growl scaped through her throat. She couldn't hold it for longer, it was crucial that the brute appeared by now. And she didn't doubt he would.

Once Shina took down the elk, Ahora stopped barking and watched for a moment. She noticed Shina outstretched her front legs, to prevent the elk from standing up again. Keep it down; Ahora exclaimed to herself . How can I help keep it down?
Looking over the body, she eyed the back legs. They kicked wildly into the air, just like when running. Ahora growled as she examined the rhythm of the kicks, waiting in front of the flank. She launched forward once the legs were outstretched in mid-kick, locking her jaws on the stifle of the elk. This limited the movement of the leg, preventing full strength kicks to Shina or Z'ev. Ahora kept letting out a low growl as she pressed her teeth down. Almost done, almost, she kept reminding herself.

Noticing the obvious struggling of the she-wolves as they took down the elk, Z'ev built up power in his hind legs and out bursted into an explosive speed ramming into the feeble elk. The brute collided all his weight into the elks spine. You can't blame his aggressiveness, he hadn't eaten in weeks. Not even noticing the she-wolves, he sunk his large fangs into the elks neck blocking its airway. Digging his claws into its side for balance,  he crushed its trachea hard with his jaws clenched as he viciously slashed his head from side to side, listening to the elk yell in pain and then suddenly go completely motionless. Once the elk just lied there, not a single breath escaping its muzzle and not a single movement of it's muscles, Z'ev slowly extracted his fangs and claws out of the elks neck. He panted faintly and then noticed how much weight he put on the elk, once he got off a large amount of blood shot out of the elks muzzle and its eyes rolled back.

Looking down at the elk, he smirked. His first meal in a few weeks was lying in front of him just waiting to be devoured. The brute looked up at Shina and Ahora and nodded his head in accomplishment. "Good work." He added as his breathing slowed down from the no longer tensing of his muscles. He shook his pelt and licked his muzzle and fangs clean from the blood stains. But he almost didn't feel the scar that the elk managed to leave on the brutes left eye. He was so focused on what he was doing, he didn't notice the injury at all. It began to sting, but Z'ev didn't show it at all. Blood began to drip down his face, but he only shook it off like it was no big deal. However, the sting was annoying him so much and hurt more than anything had in a while.

Soon Z'ev came, finishing the elk as it was nothing. It was all so fast that Shin hadn't even noticed that the brute was injured. She only noticed it as he spoke to them "Good work". Releasing the animal's skin, Shin let out a heavy breath, now allowing her lungs to fill with the right amount of oxigen before expiring carbon dioxide. With the sound of his voice she turned her head to him, nodding it. The red liquid going down his face held her attention for a few seconds, before the she-wolf turned her gaze to Ahora.
Getting up, she shook off the snow of her pelt and put a paw over the carcass, lowering her head to crunch her fangs in its pelt to pull it back, ripping its belly apart. "The meal is served" she then stated grinning before taking a large bite.

Ahora focused to keep hers jaws clamped onto the elk; she didn’t stray from the position until she heard Z’ev say, “Good work.” She released her grip, excitingly perking her head up. “ Yay!” she exclaimed staring looking over the carcass.  She smiled from the satisfaction of finally learning about big game hunting. Once Shina ripped into the belly, saying the meal is served, Ahora took a part of the leg, and dragged it a few feet away.As she looked for a spot to eat, she could still feel the soreness from the previous kick. She stopped to settle down, and managed to eat a few bites until she looked back up to the other wolves. She then noticed blood was running down Z’ev’s face. Ahora wasted no time, getting up from her meal she began to look for any Calendula.  She trotted outwards into the field, looking for the bright orange herb. It wouldn’t have bloomed yet.. Ahora reminded herself. She looked around for any signs of the herb. Then, she spotted a stem, starting to begin to grow. She quickly grabbed it with her mouth, along with a bushel of grass, and trotted swiftly over to Z’ev and Shina. As she set the materials down, she looked directly at Z’ev, and asked in a clear yet calm voice, “Can I help take care of your cut?” She then tilted her head .

As Shina said that the meal was served, Z'ev wasted no time digging his fangs into the carcasses soft meat and roughly ripping off some. It was a sudden burst of satisfaction that ran through his blood and at that point he'd never have felt so calm. Since living on his own for almost his entire life never guaranteed such peace- yes he had experienced many things but this was different. He didn't have to worry, at least for now. He thought about how after this he'd probably have to continue his life alone and oddly enough, he was okay with that.

Taking another bite, he noticed how Ahora ripped off a piece and tried to find her own little spot to eat. The tip of his tail flicked from side to side calmly, until he noticed that she quickly began trotting off. Z'ev raised an eyebrow, where is she going? But that was no place for him to ask, they were still nothing but acquaintances that helped in a hunt and maybe Ahora just planned on heading out. Probably a one time thing, so Z'ev didn't bother asking. But suddenly, she came back holding what seemed like a plant and a bunch of other materials in her mouth. Z'ev was a little thrown back as he noticed she went to go look for them, for his wound. "Can I help take care of your cut?" She asked him calmly. The cut was no big deal but the sting was kind of annoying him. He was going to refuse and tell her that he didn't need any help. Right when he was about to say that it was fine, he noticed how she stopped eating just to go look for the materials. He let out a soft sigh of defeat from his thoughts and nodded. "Thank you, Ahora." He agreed. Since when did he become so polite? Must have been something in the food...
